PicPlz is an image sharing application for Twitter users.

This application not only allows you to upload pictures of your current location or destination, it also allows you to tag your friends in those pictures as well.

TweepBack gives tweeters the chance to show their appreciation for their friends and followers.

The application takes your friends and followers and creates a unique grid-like background for your Twitter account. Once the background is created, TweepBack will automatically install it as your background.

TweepBack has seven very simple steps to follow.

To use TweepBack, you will need to verify your account through oAuth. Choose the profile pictures you want to include in the mosaic, Pick a TweepBack brand image to be included on the mosaic then wait for TweepBack to generate your background.

Once your background is generated, you will have the option to remove the TweepBack brand image for a small fee or use the free design. Brand removal will cost a flat rate of $2.00. This payment can be made via PayPal.

You default Twitter picture is place on the left-hand corner of every background you make. Once you’ve chosen either the free design or the premium design, click the ‘Continue on to the finish!’ button and your new background will be uploaded to your account.

TwitnGo is a simple Twitter application that allows users to share pictures.

To get started, authenticate your account through the oAuth method. A successfully linked account will display your picture on the right-hand side.

Choose a picture from your computer. The maximum size for pictures is 2MB. TwitnGo only supports jpg and png formats currently.

Once your picture is uploaded, you can add a status update to go along with the picture. Hit the submit button and both your picture and status will be posted to your Twitter account.

Messages cannot be longer than 140 characters. If you don’t have a picture to upload from your computer, then you can always just post the url of the picture. TwitnGo will still post the update to your account.

All pictures and updates are public. To view all the updates that have been posted through TwitnGo, click on the ‘Public Timeline’ tab on your dashboard.

Updates are click-able so that users can view that individual’s profile on Twitter. Essentially, the public timeline feature is a nice way to meet new people on Twitter.

The Portwiture application analyzes your tweets and grabs closely related pictures from Flickr.

If your profile is locked, Portwiture will ask you to authenticate  your account, through the oAuth method, before using the application.

To use the application, just enter your Twitter handle and change the settings to the ones you feel most comfortable with.  Click the ‘GO’ button and Portwiture will display a grid of pictures that closely resemble the terms you tweet about. Users can also view the pictures as a slide show instead.
