YouTube videos are shared on Twitter on a daily basis. Unfortunately you can’t say much about the link, when you post it, due to the length of the url. This problem can easily be solved with the TwTube application.

TwTube is an application that anyone can use. No registration, or authentication is required to use this application.

To get started, copy and paste the YouTube video url of your choice into the designated area. Click shorten and TwTube will automatically shorten the link.

There are three categories of videos to browse at your leisure- Trending Videos, Popular Videos and New Videos. Hot Videos are displayed at the top of the page along with their number of tweets. Recently Shared Videos are displayed underneath that.

TwTube even has a cool bookmarklet feature that allows you to shorten urls without having to visit the application!

One great thing about this application is that it does exactly what it says and nothing more. There is no extreme page lagging or wait time, just type-in your url and you’re done!

This application is extremely useful and efficient! TwTube is great for individuals who feel the need to thoroughly explain the video they’re posting.

TwTube can only shorten YouTube urls at this time.
