Instead of manually scanning your Twitter account for spammers, let TweetorSpam do the work for you.

The majority of Twitter users are legitimate people who have a purpose. Unfortunately, a few spammers and spam bots tend to slip through the cracks every now and then.

TweetorSpam requires no log-in or registration. You don’t even have to be a registered Twitter user to take advantage of this application.

Submit any Twitter username into the designated box. Usernames with underscores don’t display any results with them.

Once the Twitter username is submitted, a page is displayed with a list of information.

If a profile  is a legitimate Twitter profile, a smiling face will appear next to the information. If TweetorSpam suspects that a profile might be a spammer, the smiley face will turn to a frown or shocked face.

TweetorSpam shows the number of days that particular user’s profile has been active on Twitter, as well as their average number of tweets per day. This information is useful for individuals who want to keep track of how often they tweet each day.

TweetorSpam makes the same comment about every profile picture. The total number of users  following that individual and the ration of friends to followers rounds out the other information one can obtain from this application.

TweetorSpam also allows individuals to report a Twitter profile as ’spam’ directly from the application.

TweetorSpam is a very useful application for anyone on Twitter. Spam bots have grown increasingly clever over the years.  A profile may seem legit at first glance, and in cases like that it’s great to have an application like TweetorSpam to analyze it  and put your doubts to rest.
